John Jackson serves as a captain with the Overland Park Police Dpt. (Kansas City). Prof. Jackson has fielded numerous assignments in law enforcement since 1988 including field training officer, detective, tactical response team and D.A.R.E. He received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Wartburg (IA) College and his master's degree in criminal justice from Washburn (KS) University. Prof. Jackson is married and has two boys.
