About Troy Lane
Troy Lane has served with the Kansas State University Police Department (Manhattan, KS) since 1996, currently serving as the Assistant Director. Troy served as a Police Officer with the Salina Police Department from 1991-1995, and with the Osage County Sheriff’s Office from 1995-1996. Prior to his law enforcement career,
Troy was a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army, serving tours in Egypt, Honduras, and Operation Desert Storm. Troy has a bachelor’s degree in Management and Ethics from Manhattan Christian College, and a MLS in Criminal Justice from Ft. Hays State University. He is a graduate of the 212th FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and a frequent guest Firearms Instructor at the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center. Troy is married to Stacy.
