Greg Kessler is the immediate past chair of the TESOL CALL Interest Section, and has

coordinated and participated in a number of Internet Fairs and Developers’ Showcases at

TESOL’s Annual Convention. Greg has been teaching at Ohio University since the Fall of

1998 as a full-time continuing lecturer. During this time he has focused primarily on graduate

level oral communications courses. In addition to coordinating this level of courses, he coordinates

the use of the university’s Language Resource Center (LRC) by students of the Ohio Program

of Intensive English (OPIE). He is also active in developing instructional materials for use with

new technologies. Before arriving in Athens, Greg Kessler had taught for about nine years in

many different settings in Los Angeles and Sacramento, California; Seoul, Korea; and at the

Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

 

Greg Kessler is a Ph.D. candidate in Instructional Technology at Ohio University. He holds

an M.A. in TESOL from California State University-Sacramento and a B.A. in English with

a focus on poetry from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
