Peer Tutoring
What is
a Peer Tutor?
Peer tutors are students who are currently
enrolled in courses at Fort Hays State University. They have received
either an A or B in the course(s) they are tutoring . They are trained
to help you develop study skills that will provide a foundation
for you to become a more successful student. Under the guidance
of tutors, you will learn how to learn and develop into an independent
learner.
Peer tutors are not instructors. They
do not have the level of subject knowledge that the instructor does.
They will not do your homework for you or write your papers for
you. Remember, they will help you learn how to become a more effective
and independent learner.
