Kansas High School Computer Technology
Proficiency Examination
The Computer Technology Proficiency
Examination was developed by the FHSU Department of Accounting and
Information Systems to measure a high school student's computer
technology competencies in the following areas:
(1) Operating Systems and Hardware
(2) Computer Software
(3) Networking and the Internet, and
(4) Social and Ethical Issues in Computing.
Successful completion of the
examination allows students to earn one unit of high school credit
in computer technology as approved by the Kansas Board of Regents.
Testing is available at the Testing Services office or on-site at
the student's high school.
