The Committee went over the draft of the Teacher Grant Competition Guidelines and Instructions.
DE: wanted to underscore that the applicants must be TCs.
JH: Added "in Kansas". Also wanted expected project outcomes and their assessment. Commented that rules for format are training for higher-level grants
MC: Wanted rubric for evaluation put online. ACTION ITEM: JH develop rubric.
DE: Change wording to "will be returned."
JH: Moved to approve Teacher Grant Competition Guidelines and Instructions be approved with modifications.
MC: Seconded. Motion carried.
The Committee discussed the TC Completion Workshop to be held

ACTION ITEM: JH to send email to TCs from last year's SGI.
The Committee discussed 2003 ASGI policies and money.
JH: Said that meal cost is variable. Only TCs will go. Application must include an essay about "What I will do with the experience." JH also mentioned that he needed help with the planning of the ASGI.
The Committee discussed the correlation of existing lesson plans with standards. The KGA Librarian brought past issues of Geographic Insights and Geography Lessons as well as numerous lesson plans that were on file at the library. These were to be correlated and then a database put online.
The Fall Conference was briefly discussed. ACTION ITEM: Look up this year's GA!GAW theme.
The possibility of having our own domain name was discussed. ACTION ITEM: CH to look into registering our own domain name to separate ourselves a bit from FHSU.
