Which learning community is right for me?

The first learning community launched in August 2010, and since that time learning communities have grown to include several communities for different interests. We look forward to offering the following learning communities for the 2018-2019 academic year:

Athletes Today, Leaders Tomorrow
Designed for student-athletes who have completed NCAA eligibility as a qualifier or partial qualifier with a signed FHSU Athletic Financial Aid Agreement.

Artful Minds
Designed for students interested in art education, art history, ceramics, drawing, graphic design, interior design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, or studio art.

Career Ready Tigers
Designed for students interested in exploring and building skills needed for workplace success after graduation in any major.

Everybody's Business
Designed for students interested in business or entrepreneurship.

Feed the Tiger: Agriculture
Designed for students interested in agriculture, agricultural business, animal science, agronomy, and agricultural education.

Go Global!
Designed for students interested in international studies, study abroad, and global diversity and culture.

Heart & Mind: Philosophy and the Arts
Designed for students interested in exploring what it is to live life well, what art is, and what art has to do with living life well.

Designed for students who have transferred to Fort Hays State University from a two-year or four-year institution.

Students interested in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, osteopathy, podiatry, and chiropractic.

Zeneration One
Designed for first generation students (students who neither parent has completed a post-secondary college credential) interested in learning how to succeed as a first generation student.
