Gallery walk returns to Hays
Cast iron sculptures, illusionistic paintings of reflections and mixed media wall pieces were all available to view at Friday night’s Spring Gallery Walk. Groups of gallery goers crowded the sidewalks on Main Street as they enjoyed artwork, music and refreshments at 30 different venues.

“I think the university lacks a lot of diversity on campus and a lot of events that celebrate other cultures,” Jimenez said. “Our main goal for Cinco de Mayo, and my goal for next year as president, is to have more events that educate other students about what it means to be Hispanic, what we’re proud of and what we celebrate.”
