The Fort Hays State University football squad had its third win of the season in sight against the University of Central Missouri on Saturday at Lewis Field Stadium. However, three straight miscues in the fourth quarter handed the game to the Mules 24-21 on the Tigers’ senior night.

For many fans, this week’s three-fumble debacle pretty much summed up the season: a disappointment.

What started as a year of promise—a blowout and the upset of a top-20 team—ended in a nil-for-eight stretch.

Docking institute looks to get inside your head

Are any students at Fort Hays State University willing to share their past sexual experiences with students and faculty members?

The Docking Institute has been conducting public policy research, performing more than 275 projects through Public Affairs. Each person involved in the Docking Institute is qualified to perform policy research. The main way the institute receives their evaluative information is through survey research.

“The survey center is busy all year long; we have 20 telephone survey stations conducting surveys, as well as online computerized systems,” said Michael Walker, assistant director for the Docking Institute.

“We provide a variety of subjects for different clients,” said Joyce Wolfe, manager for the University Center for Survey Research. Wolfe is a research scientist that specializes in program evaluation. “We change these from month to month, week to week.”
