I should’ve taken it as a sign when I rented “While She Was Out” twice but didn’t ever get around to watching it either time. Third time’s a charm, I guess. Sort of.

There are two groups of people in this world: those who hate Jim Carrey and those who think he is funny. I fall into the former category. I was hoping my love for all things Christmas would cancel out my hatred of Carrey in this film. There’s no way he can mess up “A Christmas Carol” anyway, right?

Encore gets audience ‘In the Mood’
This Monday, Hays was graced with the presence of a big band called String of Pearls, and it performed its show “In the Mood,” which was comprised of popular music from the 1940s.
FHSU band and choir prepare for concert
The choir is performing a unique composition called “PDQ Bach Choir” by Peter Schickele, where they will also perform with a small group of string players.
