Tigers Raisin' Roofs (Habitat for Humanity)

Team Members: Crystal Cook, Kiley Eisenhour, Gina Frohlich, Jolene Haas, Tavish Marshall
Mission Statement: Our team's mission is to create and implement an on-campus chapter for Habitat for Humanity in order to recruit volunteers to help with fundraising and the building of houses in Ellis County.

Ronald's Helping Hands (Ronald McDonald Houses of Wichita)

Team Members: Shannon Ellenberger, Maggie Ellis, Mandy Misner, Jenna Salem
Mission Statement: We, Ronald's Helping Hands, exist to provide funding and increase awareness for the Ronald McDonald House so that families have a home-away-from-home, while their children are receiving treatment in the hospital.

Leadership On & Off the Field

Team Members: Megan Augustine, Brittany Cowles, Kelsey Koerner, Allyson Plattner, Amy Walsh
Mission Statement: The purpose of Leadership On & Off the Field is to nurture and enhance the leadership skills that many student athletes display in their given arena of sports, and to help the student athletes use those skills in other areas of their lives.

Chestnut Street District Improvement

Team Members: Sam Callender, Dave Lantz, Jeremy Schumacher, Landon Taylor
Mission Statement: Our mission is to collect and correlate data from the downtown area between 2004 and 2006, make recommendations based on these findings to improve the area, and maintain current satisfaction and interest in the downtown area.


Team Members: Tana Cooper, Brittany Fager, Sarah Melia, Jenna Polok, Jodi Schremmer
Mission Statement: Bigs-R-Us is collaborating with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ellis County to build awareness, recruit bigs, and assist in fundraising efforts.

Tigers 4 Life

Team Members: Kerra Kohn, Blake Lewis, Brandy Ridgway, Angie Roth
Mission Statement: Tigers for Life is a student organization that is developed to promote FHSU pride and tradition, enhance relationships between students and alumni, and create everlasting memories.

Food for Thought: Second Helpings

Team Members: Bryce Augustine, April Johnston, Kelsey Lynn, Devin Reed
Mission Statement: We are here to find sustainable funding for the Food for Thought organization that is currently supplying food to 10 children and their siblings in the Head Start of Hays program, and to gain enough funding to keep the program growing beyond the current capacity.

Sternberg Outsourcing

Team Members: Alex Eaton, Stacey Karl, Kory Lira, Dustin Trego
Mission Statement: The mission of the Sternberg Outsourcing team is to help the Sternberg Museum encourage hands-on learning in the classroom as well as promote science education in classrooms at all levels of education through providing the materials that teachers in Western Kansas need to provide the best education in science that is possible.

Ride for the Red

Team Members: Josh Peck, Uriah Williams, Natasha Wishapl, Ashley Compeau
Mission Statement: Our mission is to create a "Ride for the Red" motorcycle rally and Awareness Day that will benefit the Ellis County American Red Cross Chapter. The purpose is to raise funds for the Ellis County American Red Cross, which will in turn allow them to better educate the community on the services they provide.
