Mission Statement:As volunteers of the American Red Cross and representatives of the Fort Hays State University Leadership Studies program, the ARC Task Force will collaborate to investigate, explore, and develop a celebration of 80 years of service by the Ellis County American Red Cross. In light of this, we will not only recognize those who donate valuable resources to the American Red Cross, but we will also gain recognition in order to increase the amount of community and county livelihood.

Mission Statement:In a collaborative effort working with the Girl Scout corporate office, our task force group is striving to accomplish an effective, beneficial 1998 GirlSports Day, which will be held on May 2. We will offer girls from across the state of Kansas workshops promoting health and fitness in an exciting, group atmosphere. We plan to offer over 435 girls, in grades K-12, many opportunities to engage in group activities and various games that would not be possible with such a large number of girls from such a vast region of the state.

Mission Statement:The S.C.H.E.M.E. Team task force is comprised of a group of concerned Ellis County citizens and students of Fort Hays State University who are interested in identifying the entertainment needs of Ellis County and surrounding areas. After identifying these issues we will develop an entertainment plan that will increase the entertainment options and local economy for Hays and northwest Kansas. We will submit this plan to the Wild West Fest Committee.
