Many times community events sizzle out, and that is the case with the Ellis Community Christmas event, “Follow the Star to Ellis.” Through promotion, our leadership team will increase awareness to downtown and create a community-wide Christmas spirit. Store fronts will be filled with a variety of businesses that will compliment an antique niche that Ellis is already known for. Our wish is that “Follow the Star to Ellis” will possibly create a “signature event” to be held on an annual basis—an event that Ellis becomes known for.
