The initial vision of our group was to see a new leadership class offered to the high school students at TMP-Marian and Hays High. We wanted to collaborate with teachers and school officials to develop this new curriculum. Also, we wanted the students to incorporate leadership in and out of the classroom. For example, the students could incorporate leadership into sports activities and as well as other extracurricular activities. Our ultimate goal with the development of a new leadership curriculum was to get it passed by the Kansas State Board of Regents and implement it into the high schools.
