In a collaborative effort working with the Girl Scout corporate office, our task force group is striving to accomplish an effective, beneficial 1998 GirlSports Day, which will be held on May 2. We will offer girls from across the state of Kansas workshops promoting health and fitness in an exciting, group atmosphere. We plan to offer over 435 girls, in grades K-12, many opportunities to engage in group activities and various games that would not be possible with such a large number of girls from such a vast region of the state.
