Leadership students have opportunities throughout the year to hear speakers. The Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership prepares students to become effective organizational players in today's workplace. Rather than preparing graduates for a single particular career, this degree program provides the knowledge and skills necessary for a broad range of organizational and supervisory positions. Graduates find themselves well prepared for entry-level supervisory and project management roles. The skill set of: (1) effective communication, (2) teamwork, (3) organizational change making and (4) supervision, provides these graduates with the tools they need to be successful in the modern workplace.
The goal of the Leadership Studies department is to produce highly motivated self-directed team players with the education and skills to be productive employees.
Communication Skills
Organizational Leadership majors are equipped with strong written and verbal communication skills. All course work and activities require students to submit business reports and strategic plans as well as multi-media presentations.

The Organizational Leadership degree program requires students to learn the processes of organizational and community assessment as well as positive change making. Students are skilled in strategic planning, goal setting, and problem solving.
