Dr. Brungardt serves as a leadership development and training consultant and chief editor for the Rocky Mountain Institute for Leadership Advancement. Dr. Brungardt also serves as the director for FHSU's Center for Civic Leadership (CCL). Over the last ten years, he has presented and facilitated over 100 workshops throughout America. In addition, Dr. Brungardt has published three books and a dozen articles in the field of leadership studies.
Most importantly, he is a husband, father, and an avid sailor.

Mrs. Brungardt is actively involved in many community projects, including Kansas Youth Leadership Academy, 4-H Extension Council, and the Ellis County United Way. She serves on the university American Democracy Project Vision Team as well as on both state and regional service-learning committees. She publishes and presents in the fields of service-learning and civic engagement. In the spring of 2004, Christie received the University’s Outstanding Service Award in recognition of her service to FHSU and to the Hays community.

Ms. Arensdorf is actively involved in youth leadership development activities, including the Kansas Youth Leadership Academy and Kids Voting Hays program. She has published three articles on the effects of service-learning on the development of youth's leadership skills. She also serves on the FHSU Virtual College Advisory Council. Jill is currently pursuing her Ph.D at Kansas State University.
Jill's interests include music, reading, water skiing, and playing softball.

Dr. Brent Goertzen completed his doctoral degree requirements in Leadership Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Goertzen’s doctoral dissertation entitled “Role of Managers’ and Direct Reports’ Ethic of Virtue on Leader-Member Exchanges” examined the influence of individual moral character on the leadership process. Dr. Goertzen’s teaching and research interests are in the moral character of ethical leadership. Dr. Goertzen has also published several articles examining influence behaviors in leadership.

Mr. Greenleaf is an instructor for the Leadership Studies Department. He also serves as the e-Leadership.net Coordinator and, along with Beth Bishop, assists in the facilitation and administration of all virtual leadership classes. Mr. Greenleaf has presented the e-Leadership concept at a number of different conferences, most recently at the ED MEDIA World Conference on Educational Multimedia, Hypermedia, and Telecommunications in 2005. He has previously been involved in collegiate leadership development as a Graduate Assistant for the Leadership Studies Department. Mr. Greenleaf is also an active Fellow for the Center for Civic Leadership at Fort Hays State University.

Ms. Parker serves as a virtual instructor for the Leadership Studies Department. She previously held the position of Assistant Director of the Center for Civic Leadership and the Interim Director of the Kansas Youth Leadership Academy. Ms. Parker promotes service-learning, community service, and student activism. During her time at FHSU she founded the Tigers In Service program, which was nationally recognized in 2004 by USA Weekend Magazine. Currently, Ms. Parker serves as a fellow for the Center for Civic Leadership and spends the majority of her time interacting with online leadership students.

Ms. Chantelle Arnold, Department of Leadership Studies Senior Administrative Assistant (top)

Following graduation, Ms. Arnold began work with a local trucking company that enabled her to participate in many activities, primarily as the co-chairman of children's activities at the Kansas Professional Truck Driving Championships and a co-chairman of the local Big Rigs for Kansas Kids food drive.
Ms. Arnold, her husband, and her children currently reside in Hays, Kansas. She has enjoyed her time in the Leadership Studies Department and the Center for Civic Leadership and looks forward to her continued involvement with youth and civic based activities.

Dr. Crawford has taught several classes in leadership related areas for the last 10 years. Today, he is a graduate faculty within the Department of Leadership Studies. Dr. Crawford has served as a consultant for several organizations in Kansas and in North and South Carolina dealing with organizational training and development issues. He and Dr. Curt Brungardt collaborated on a new theory and book called Risk Leadership. Along with Dr. Micol Maughan, they also wrote a new text/workbook entitled Understanding Leadership: Theories and Concepts. Recently, Dr. Crawford wrote a book on the issue of teamwork, titled "Maximum Team Performance: Team building, Teamwork, and Team Leading."

Dr. Tony Andenoro, Assistant Professor of Leadership Studies (top)

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Tony has worked at 6 different universities including Texas A&M University where he was a Senior Employee Development Specialist for the Center for Employee Education. He is passionate about working with students, which most likely stemmed from his time as a kindergarten teacher in Ohio. Tony also has an extensive presentation history and his research interests include the link between critical thinking and emotional intelligence and the globalization of leadership education.
Tony's hobbies including golfing, playing volleyball, and traveling.
