B.A. in General Studies with concentrations in Geoscience and History from Fort Hays State University, currently pursuing a Master's of Leadership Studies in Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University
 
 
Kristin served as a trustee for The Nature Conservancy of Maine for ten years and also The Nature Conservancy's National Marketing Committee. She developed the Poland Spring Preservation Park which included a museum, ten miles of cross country ski and hiking trails, an ice skating rink, gift shop, cafe and training center. While working for Nestle Waters, NA, Kristin developed manuals and the quality, natural resource, and community relations programs. She is also an active teacher and advocate of Project WET (Water Education for Teachers), as she works to nationalize and internationalize the program.

Kristin's hobbies include reading, biking, hiking, kayaking, Irish dancing, and gardening. She also has three daughters and two grandchildren who she loves to spoil. Upon graduation from her Master's program in May, Kristin plans to pursue a PhD in Cultural Geography at Kansas State University.
