Troy joined the Leadership Studies Program as the academic advisor for virtual students in 2012. He attended FHSU during the 2004/2005 academic year as a Justice Studies student and member of the FHSU football team. In 2009, Troy earned his BA in Criminal Justice from Kansas Wesleyan University.
After receiving his degree, Troy worked with high-risk youth in a variety of settings including community mental health centers and foster care. Before moving to his current position, Troy worked at the Department for Children and Families providing economic and employment support.
Outside of his work at FHSU, Troy enjoys spending time with his wife, April Terry, who is an instructor in Justice Studies, and their daughter, Breckynn, who was born in August of 2011.
