Dr. Goertzen has been with the Department of Leadership Studies since 2002. During his time with the department, he has been active in the Center for Civic Leadership through Community and Collegiate Leadership programs. He has facilitated many workshops for the Small Business Development Center, Next-Tech, and the civilian workforce at Fort Riley. Dr. Goertzen's areas of expertise include supervisory leadership, team dynamics, and ethical leadership. In the fall of 2006 Dr. Goertzen and his wife welcomed their newest bundle of joy, Cameron. Some of Dr. Goertzen's hobbies include spending time with his family, experiencing the outdoors, and supporting his favorite football team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
