John is currently pursuing his MBA in Leadership Studies and working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) in the Leadership Studies Department. As a GTA, he is involved in working on departmental marketing strategies. While obtaining his undergraduate degree at FHSU, John was a four-year letter winner on the FHSU football team and a five time scholar athlete. John has also been a member of the FHSU Concert Choir and the Fort Hays Singers. He is currently involved with the Kansas Youth Leadership Academy as a facilitator at the biannual Leadership On and Off the Field conference.

John’s interests include camping, boating, water sports, snow skiing, intramural sports, music, singing, playing the guitar, putting smiles on the faces of individuals he encounters everyday, scuba diving, working with children, animals, hunting, riding horses, and gazing at the stars.
