Mr. Whitaker has been acticely incolced with the Department of Leadership Studies since he bgan his undergraduate degree in Organizational Leadership. Brett is currently finishing his Master's degree and will be instructing undergraduates in the fall.

One exciting program that Brett has been a part of is the 7 Revolutions program at FHSU. This new initiative partners the students of FHSU with several major educational, media, and nonprofit entities to examine what the world will look like in the year 2025. From this initial program, an undergraduate course has developed, as well as the opportunity for several regional and national presentations on the work of FHSU in the program.

Finally, Brett is a Fellow in the Center for Civic Leadership where he is active in both the collegiate and youth leadership programs. During his time as a graduate assistant for the department, he coordinated the LEADOFF and Leaderville events, and has facilitated workshops on Leadership and Communication for middle school and high school students as well as collegiate level students and community members.
