Directory of Open Access Journals- This service covers free, full text, quality controlled scientific and scholarly journals. There are currently 9709 journals in the directory; 5621 are searchable at the article level.

Access World News Research Collection - NEW RESOURCE for 2014-15! Gale Virtual Reference Library - NEW RESOURCE for 2014-15! Over 1200 cross-searchable reference books to assist you with your research.

Films on Demand Master Academic Collection - are you ready for this - streaming video for over 12,000 full length films and over 175,000 clips available 24/7 in class, in the library, or off-campus. Films on Demand is iPad, Android, PC and Mac friendly. New titles are added monthly and subject coverage includes Business and Economics, Science and Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Medicine, and Archival Films and Newsreels.

NBC Learn HE -  Streaming video of more than 12,000 stories from the NBC News archives dating back to the 1920s. In addition to the archives, collections are updated each weekday with current event stories from programs such as the TODAY show, Meet the Press, Dateline NBC, and offerings from MSNBC, CNBC and Telemundo. Users can create personal accounts and save personalized playlists, notes, etc. Guides and tutorials are available to help you optimize your use of NBC Learn.

Forsyth Library participates in  trials of electronic resources for review by faculty, students and staff of Fort Hays State University. Access is limited to authorized FHSU users unless otherwise noted. Use your TigerTracks username and password to try out these resources while available. Rock's Back Pages - The ultimate archive of music journalism. Over 25,000 classic articles on artists from Aaliyah to ZZ Top, all genres from rockabilly to hip hop, by the finest music writers of the last 50 years. Chicago Manual of Style Online - The online version of the 16th edition of the manual provides recommendations on editorial style and publishing practices in the digital age. Access also includes the Chicago Style Q&A, the 15th edition of the manual, and tools such as sample correspondence, proofreaders' marks and a quick guide to citation.

E-book Collection - (formerly known as NetLibrary)  Patron registration required. Titles are viewable online, or download selected titles to your computer or e-book reader.

Ebook Library (EBL) - Offering FHSU patrons access to 50,000 e-book titles. Read the books online and take notes, create citations, copy and print portions of the books, and much more. Prefer to read a book offline? You can download entire books to your chosen device. You can also find links for EBL books in the Forsyth Library Catalog. HathiTrust - The HathiTrust Digital Library is an immense collection of resources in digital form from over 60 institutions worldwide. Their mission is to curate and preserve the cultural record, making it accessible for future generations. The library contains both public domain and copyright protected works. At this time FHSU users are able to freely access the public domain works in HathiTrust.
