ERIC
An online digital library of education research and information, sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences and the U.S. Dept. of Education. Contains more than 1.3 million bibliographic records of journal articles and other education-related materials, with hundreds of new records added multiple times per week. If available, links to full text are included. Forsyth Library also owns many Eric documents on microfiche, which can be printed. Citations and some full-text of articles on all aspects of teaching. You can limit to "full-text" or to articles available on Microfiche, which are kept in the filing cabinets labeled Eric, in the Periodical section of the library. Librarians are happy to help you find what you need--just ask!

Look for an ED number (6 digit number), also called an Accession Number, if the article is not available in electronic full-text. You can also limit your search to bring up only those articles for which the full-text is available.
Education Full Text
One of the components of Wilson Omnifile, coverage includes nearly 80 journals (37 of which are full-text) not included in ERIC. Full-text coverage goes back to 1996, with citations back to 1983. Check the box for Education Full-Text at the top of the page, enter your search terms, and choose your desired limits, including full-text, peer-reviewed (scholarly), PDF format, by date, and more.
Sage Premier
Scholarly journal articles covering a wide range of topics.1947 - present Articles prior to 1999 usually only have a citation and/or abstract available.
Click Advanced Search, enter your keywords, and check "Sage Content Available to Me" to get full-text articles.
Info Trac Databases
A group of 17 databases containing millions of journal, magazine and newspaper articles on a wide range of subjects. 1980-present
Click on a database title to search it, or check multiple boxes and hit "Submit" at the top, to simultaneously search all the selected databases.
