The Learning Commons
The Learning Commons at Forsyth Library is a technology-infused place that engages students in learning, supports and encourages intellectual growth and achievement, and provides real-time assistance for real-time questions. We offer the right blend of human expertise, technology, comfort, and flexibility to support student and faculty learning and research. There are 45 computers in the library, both MAC and PC, with a variety of software to meet your learning needs. We also have equipment available to check out and use for classroom projects: digital cameras, video recorders, tablets, and more! The Writing Center and Tiger Food Exchange are conveniently located on the first floor of Forsyth Library and Learning Commons. A state of the art MakerSpace with 3D printing, robots, and other creative equipment and expertise resides on the lower level.
