Learning Commons - iTunes U
HOW TO GET CLASS LECTURES OR SUBSCRIBE TO A LECTURE SERIES
On iTunes, it's easy to subscribe to a podcast series. Some instructors at FHSU have made it possible for you to subscribe to their lectures through FHSU's "store" on iTunesU. Not all courses have an section on iTunes you, but if yours does, follow the instructions below to access them online. If you are required to UPLOAD A VIDEO TO iTUNES U for an FHSU course, there is a tutorial on that, too.
If you have any trouble with these programs or want to know more, contact us or drop by the Learning Commons desk in Forsyth Library.
Make sure you have iTunes installed on your computer. It can be downloaded at http://www.apple.com/itunes/.
After iTunes is installed, go to http://itunesu.fhsu.edu and choose
You will be directed to a login page. Enter your TigerTracks username and password and choose Login.
You will be sent to a page that looks like this:

A message may appear asking you if you want to open an external
application. The external application is iTunes. Accept this and
iTunes will open up automatically, or it may even open automatically
without the external applications message.
Another page will open with several categories of podcasts. Click on Courses.

All the courses that you are enrolled in that have a section on iTunesU will appear here. Click on the title of the course for which you want to get the lecture or subscribe to the series. All available lectures should be listed on this tab.

- In iTunes 9.0 or above, choose
to automatically download available lectures when you open iTunes or
next to the lecture of the specific lecture you want. The lecture(s) will be placed in the iTunes U section located in the left column of iTunes.

A blue dot next to a podcast
means there is new content that you have not listened to. Use the dropdown arrow to view all the episodes of the podcast and double-click
the one you’d like to listen to.
