Mind-mapping
Mind-mapping allows you and/or your group to explore, build and organize your thoughts on any topic. By using mind-mapping before you start researching or writing, you will practically guarantee a smoother work flow, a better assignment - and a better mark. Mind-mapping allows you to develop ideas and focus on the important ones, as well as providing a solid organizational structure for your final project.
Watch this slide-show which includes information on the nature of mind-mapping, steps to follow in creating a mind-map, a few example mind-maps and links to free, online software.
