These are minimum recommendations, updated annually by CTC staff. For the most up-to-the-minute recommendations, contact the Learning Commons.

These specifications only cover the basic recommendations for all FHSU students. Some departments may require additional processing power, RAM, hard-drive space, etc. to successfully perform tasks required for graduation from their programs. Departments may require a tablet computer or a specific platform (Mac/PC). You should contact your department before making your final purchase.

When selecting your software, please keep in mind that basic technical assistance at FHSU will be provided for systems and applications installed in English. Limited or no support may be available from FHSU or from off-campus computer repair businesses for systems and applications installed in other languages. Remember to check the Software Center for FHSU student discounts before buying software and with your academic department for subject-related software.
