Add Items to Zotero

Zotero allows you to insert items to your library both manually and automatically.

1. See how to insert items manually.

2. To Insert Items automatically:

Once you are browsing a web page which contains items that Zotero can recognize, icons will appear in your address bar.

zotero folder icon  indicates that there are many items you can add. Click the folder icon and then select the items that you would like to save and then click the OK button. All your selected items are then added to your library.

zotero book icon indicates that there is a book to add. Click the book icon, the book is added in your library.

zotero article icon indicates that there is an article that you can add to your Zotero library. Click the article icon, the article is added to your library.

zotero newspaper icon indicates that there is a newspaper article to add. Click the newspaper icon, the news article is then added to your library.

zotero movie icon indicates that there is a movie to add. Click the movie icon, the movie is then added to your library.
