Math Relays Event
is coming soon!

Math Student

The Mathematics & Computer Science Department at Fort Hays State University is excited about the upcoming the 2014 Math Relays, held on the university campus November 13th, 2014.  Numerous challenging events covering topics such as number sense, calculating with calculators, and trigonometry are to be held for students from 9th through 12th grade. The faculty and staff of our department would like to encourage all school districts within reasonable distance to enter individuals and relay teams for the 2014 Math Relays.

To participate in the 2014 relays a school sponsor is required. That sponsor should access first the Sponsor Info link above view important information and then the Entry Forms link above to begin the entry process. Space is limited and entry is based on first come first serve, so sponsors should not delay this entry process.

Also, while you are in our Math Relay pages, take a little time to examine this past year's (or other previous year's) excelling individuals, teams, and schools by viewing the 2013 Relay Results (see the Past Winners link above.)

As always, if you have questions, feel free to contact us at (785) 628-4240.

 Important Note to Sponsors:

Many of the links in the sponsor and entry areas take you to documents which require the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader. A free browser plug-in is available for both Macintosh and Windows Operating Systems at

http://www.adobe.com/reader/

If you have an older version of the Reader program, you may need to update to a more current version in order to open the documents. The above link should help you update to the most recent version.
