The 37th Annual Fort Hays State University
Math Relays Event
is just around the corner!

Math Student

The Mathematics and the Computer Science Departments at Fort Hays State University are gearing up for the 2015 Math Relays, and we hope you are too.  The 2015 Math Relays are scheduled to be held on the university campus Thursday, November 12th, 2015.  Numerous challenging events covering topics such as number sense, calculating with calculators, and trigonometry will be held for students from 9th through 12th grade. The faculty and staff of our departments would like to encourage all school districts within reasonable distance to enter individuals and relay teams for this year's Math Relays.  There is limited space in our university student union building, so the number of entries are also limited.  School entries are taken in a "first come, first serve" basis, so all schools interested need to select at least one sponsor to enter their school competitors.  This sponsor should use the above links to read the important Sponsor Info as well as download, complete, and submit all needed Entry Forms.

Also, while you are in our Math Relay pages, take a little time to examine the past year's (or other recent year's) excelling individuals, teams, and schools through the Past Winners link above.  Check back in mid November 2015 for winners of this year's Math Relays.

As always, if you have questions, feel free to contact us at (785) 628-4240.

Important Note:

Many of the links in the Relay areas take you to documents which require the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader. A free browser plug-in is available for Mac, Windows, and other Operating Systems at

If you have an older version of the Reader program, you may need to update to a more current version in order to open the documents. The above link should help you update to the most recent version.
