The 38th Annual Fort Hays State University
Math Relays Event
Has Crossed the Finish Line!

Cross Finish Line at Math Relays

The Mathematics and the Computer Science Departments at Fort Hays State University would like to thank ALL fifty-three communities whose schools, students, and sponsors participated in this year's FHSU Math Relays.  The 2016 relays have been completed and listing of top finishers can be found through the "PAST WINNERS" link above.  We hope all participants had a great time stretching their mathematical talents, the FHSU Mathematics Department had a great time running the relays again.

Make your plans now to participate in the 2017 Math Relays, currently scheduled to be held on the university campus Thursday, November 9th, 2017.  Challenging events covering topics such as number sense, calculating with calculators, and trigonometry will be held for students from 9th through 12th grade. The faculty and staff of our department would like to encourage all school districts within reasonable distance to enter individuals and relay teams in next year's Math Relays.  Relay entry process will begin in early to mid-September .  There is limited space in our university student union building, so the number of entries are also limited... please plan appropriately for entry into next year's relays event.

Also, while you are in our Math Relay pages, take a little time to view other recent years' excelling individuals, teams, and schools through the "Past Winners" link above.

As always, if you have questions, feel free to contact us at (785) 628-4240.
