Software
Purchases - To become eligible to make purchases from the Software
Center, students must pay tuition and fees for the current semester.
Students remain eligible to make purchases until the end of the last
semester for which their tuition and fees have been received.
You will automatically receive an e-mail message from elms_support
that contains your username and password once you have paid your tuition
and are entered into the FHSU system. The username will be your TigerTracks
(scatcat) e-mail (i.e. jdoe@scatcat.fhsu.edu) and the password is randomly
generated. If you feel you have not received that e-mail or mistakenly
deleted it, Click on the "forget
password" link on the Software Purchase site and it will prompt
you to enter your scatcat e-mail address and then you will receive
a new login and password through your e-mail.
***NOTE: MPC/Gateway--the manufacturer of Gateway
tablet PCs and other devices--declared chapter 11 bankruptcy November 7, 2008.
If you are experiencing in-warranty or other service problems with you Gateway
computer, please do not send the unit to the Gateway Sioux City, SD, or Nampa,
Idaho, addresses. Fort Hays State University also strongly advises against
the future purchase of Gateway tablet PCs and other Gateway computing products.
Fort Hays State University is working closely with Sicoir Computer Technologies
of Hays to ensure that you receive satisfactory service for your Gateway product.
