Concert Choir is open to all FHSU students, and numbers 48-64 singers. Placement in CC is by openauditions held at the beginning of the year. Auditions may also be held at the semester. CC presents four major concerts each year, including Fall and Spring concerts on campus in the magnificent Beach/Schmidt Performing Arts Center, the Cathedral Concert in December at the famous “Cathedral of the Plains” in nearby Victoria, and a Master Works Concert in which the FHSU choirs join forces with the Hays Symphony Orchestra. In 2007 the choir performed at the KMEA State Workshop.
