Katie Morris-Cline

Katie Morris-Cline

Ms. Katie Morris-Cline is a dedicated educator with a diverse background. With degrees in Spanish, Flute Performance, and a Master's degree in education, she has taught for more than 12 years in a variety of positions. She started her career in education as an instructor of Spanish at Aims Community College in Greeley, Colorado. Later, she was the chair of World Languages at Jefferson Academy in Broomfield, Colorado, where she also started at jazz band program. She has taught all levels of students, from kindergarten through college.

Currently Katie teaches both music and Spanish at Fort Hays State University, where she is pleased to direct the flute choir and play piccolo in the Hays Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as a soloist with the orchestra as the flutist for the Bach Brandenburg Concerto #2, and continues to enjoy collaborating with other musicians in the area.
