FHSU Summer Piano Camp

The theme of the camp is The Art of Reading Scores. Daily activities will include comprehensive analysis of stylistic and generic characteristics of music from Baroque to Modern. An emphasis will be made on a complete in-depth understanding of the score structure, texture, and musical imagery. Also, students will be supervised and guided in their work on the range of problems faced by piano players: articulation and phrasing, dynamics and nuances, sense of balance, rhythmic precision, intelligent pedaling, sound production, tonal control, and etc.

2. Application Fee: $20

Enrollment Fee: $450
Fee will include tuition, lodging (double room), and meals.

Send after you receive an acceptance letter.

Students are required to practice their assigned ensemble pieces prior to June 8.
