Liberty Group Jazz Piano Scholarship

The Liberty Group is looking for a jazz piano player to perform in their businesses in the newly renovated Chestnut District and major in music at Fort Hays State University. They have established a $5,000 per year, renewable scholarship. This scholarship covers out of state tuition and provides the recipient with steady performance opportunities in this renovated downtown section of Hays, Kansas. Performances include a weekly jam session, trio, and perhaps single performances as well. This is a great opportunity for a serious jazz piano student to work on a music degree, have their tuition paid and have a steady weekly income from jazz performances.

2. Send a brief resume, a CD of recordings of jazz performances especially with a trio or solo jazz piano, and one recording of a classical piano piece (your choice) to:
