The Department of Music sponsors three student national organization
chapters at Fort Hays State University.
Phi Mu Alpha - a national men's music service fraternity. Alpha
Phi chapter is the Fort Hays State University chapter.
Sigma Alpha Iota - a
national women's music service fraternity. There is a Sigma Alpha
Iota alumni chapter open to all local residents who were student
members of Sigma Alpha Iota.
College Music Educators National
Conference (CMENC) - a co-ed service organization for students
interested in promoting music education.
