With internationally and nationally recognized faculty performers and scholars, the voice studies area at Fort Hays State University is committed to providing the highest quality vocal instruction and choral experiences. Dr. Paula Boire and Dr. Joseph Perniciaro, voice faculty, and Dr. Terry Crull, Director of Choral Activities, collaborate on a wide range of educational and performing opportunities. All students have access to a wide range of courses, including four choirs, private voice lessons, song literature, diction, pedagogy, opera techniques and opera performance. Students also study choral literature, arranging and conducting. All students have the opportunity to audition for annual opera and musical theater productions.
