FHSU to host an African American
inspired Diversi-Tea
A
free educational tea will be hosted by Fort Hays State University's
Office of Diversity Affairs. Diversi-Tea will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 20, in the Memorial Union's Sunset Lounge.
Assorted teas and cakes associated with the African-American culture will be served.
"This is a
fantastic way to learn about diversity and the African-American
culture," said Amber White, diversity affairs director. "This will be a
fun and educational way to learn about the 150th anniversary of the
Emancipation Proclamation and the 50th anniversary of the March on
Washington in a relaxed setting."
