SMEI announces Science Café events
The
Science and Mathematics Education Institute at Fort Hays State
University has announced several Science Café events for the spring 2013
semester.
Thursday, Feb. 28:
Dr. Darrell Hamlin, assistant professor of justice studies, will present
"Kurt Vonnegut and the Ideal of a Citizen-Scientist."
Thursday, March 28: Topic to be determined but will be related to cooking, food and/or drink.
Thursday, April 18:
Dr. Paul Adams, Anschutz Professor of Education and director of the
Science and Math Education Institute, will present "Science of
Firewalking."
Science Café events start at 7 p.m. at Gella's Diner & Lb. Brewing Co., 117 East 11th, in downtown Hays
