Science and Mathematics Education Institute to host 5th annual science and engineering fair
The
fifth annual Kansas State Regional Science and Engineering Fair will be
from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, in Fort Hays State
University's Memorial Union.
Students in the
fourth to 12th grades will have the opportunity to interact with science
and mathematics professionals. The fair is aimed at fostering an
interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers.
Featured projects
relate to biochemistry, medicine and health, botany, chemistry, consumer
science, Earth and space science, engineering, inventions,
environmental science, mathematics, computer science, and zoology.
Public viewing is from noon to 1 p.m. Awards will be presented beginning at 1 p.m.
