Tigers to participate in largest Numana
food packaging event
Eighteen Fort Hays State University students have the opportunity to
participate in the Guinness Book of World Records most meals packaged in
one hour through the free Alternative Weekend trip hosted by Tigers in
Service on Saturday, Feb. 16.
Students will help run the largest Numana food packaging event at the Kansas Coliseum, Wichita.
"Alternative weekends are a great way for students to meet and get to know many different kinds of people," said Becca Kohl, Hays sophomore and student coordinator for Tigers In Service. "We try to pick a diverse group of students to go on these trips."
The deadline to
volunteer is Friday, Feb. 8. To volunteer, students should email Tigers
In Service at service@fhsu,edu or call 785-628-5537.
