Assessment - History

The majority of pediatric clients presenting with AOM will do so during or following an acute upper respiratory illness. However, cases of otitis media can present as isolated events, as well as being diagnosed on routine well baby examinations. Common specific and non-specific signs and symptoms are listed below:
