Welcome to Fort Hays State University! We're pleased that your son or daughter has chosen to enroll at our institution.

We recently celebrated one hundred years of academic excellence at FHSU. Many positive changes have taken place since the university's founding in 1902, but one thing has remained the same. That is Fort Hays State University's commitment to providing a top quality education with a personal touch.

FHSU is pleased to offer a wide variety of academic programs in a dynamic learning environment. We are on the cutting edge of technology, providing students with ready access to the Internet and World Wide Web. Additionally, we hire the best and brightest faculty who care about the students and are dedicated to preparing them for a successful future.

The Fort Hays State University tradition of excellence is evident in all areas, including athletics, extracurricular programs, and student services, to name a few. The support network for students is outstanding, ranging from healthcare services to counseling to employment assistance. We at Fort Hays State University take a personal interest in our students and are concerned for their well being. Our goal is to make their educational journey as enjoyable as possible.
