About Bryan:

I have always been intrigued by learning and the pursuit of knowledge. My interest in finding solutions to problems and in the pursuit of knowledge led me from my undergraduate and graduate studies, to the practice of environmental litigation, and finally to teaching. My current focus on education allows me the opportunity to address complex questions of law, public policy and our system of government while at the same time allowing me the opportunity to help others find answers to their own questions about how our system works and what role they can play in shaping our future.

Professional Experience:

I am licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Kansas and Missouri and have served as counsel or co-counsel in litigation and regulatory matters in 16 jurisdictions ranging from New Jersey to California and Florida to Wisconsin.

During my years of practice I focused on environmental litigation and regulation including cases involving water and air quality, permitting of industrial facilities and workplace exposure claims. In addition, I have experience as pro-bono counsel in criminal and civil matters ranging from juvenile criminal cases to divorce and child custody issues.
