The Curriculum

Key Things You Should Know
- Political Science is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree at FHSU.
- Every FHSU student must complete the 55-hour General Education Program (or community college articulation agreement).
- Every B.A. Degree from a Kansas Board of Regents University must meet the 10-hour Modern Language Requirement.
- The Political Science major at FHSU is a 42-hour program:

  • Core Courses for the major = 30 hours
  • Concentration courses for the major = 12 hours
- Students may pursue multiple areas of concentration.
