Chapter 7-- Student Affairs
Admission
Qualified applicants are admitted to programs
in all faculties and departments without discrimination on the basis
of age, national origin, disability, race, sex, religion, Vietnam-era
veteran status or special disabled veteran status in its programs
and activities. Requirements for admission of first-time undergraduates
are established by legislative enactment. In 2001, Qualified Admissions,
as established by the Kansas Board of Regents, was implemented.
Non–degree students are not currently working toward a specific
undergraduate degree at FHSU and may be admitted as regular nontraditional
students. An adult interested in attending FHSU should obtain from
and return to the Office of the Registrar an application for admission
as a new, transfer, or former student. For complete details see
the current schedule of classes. The class schedule also outlines
undergraduate readmission for students who did not attend the previous
semester, international and graduate school admission, and admission
of high school students.
