During a recent sabbatical, I wrote a cognitive science
novel that has become the major reading in my classes on Motivation,
Learning, Conceptions of the Mind, Intro to Cognitive Psychology,
and Creativity. In its own way, it is a reply to Skinner, Dennett,
Churchland, and others that deny the reality of our mental side.
