Spring Semester 2006

November 30-December 16 Enrollment billing. Fee payment agreement information for students registered in classes will be mailed to student's permanent address. After December 16, contact Student Fiscal Services at 785-628-5251 or 4461 for fee information or go here.

January 5 - Final day for fee arrangements to reach Student Fiscal Services. Class schedules (registrations) will be deleted if fee arragements are not made.

January 9 - Available financial aid released to Tiger Card for enrolled students.

January 10 - Late enrollment, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Registrar's Office, Sheridan Hall 106.
Late enrollment fees due at time of enrollment.
Seniors declare Intent to Graduate at time of last enrollment for degree.

January 11 - Classes begin

January 15 - Student Residential Life payments due to Student Fiscal Services

January 16 - Martin Luther King Holiday, university closed

January 17 - Classes resume

January 18 - Final day for 100% refund for full semester or arranged courses.

January 23 - Final day for graduate students to declare an Intent to Graduate--notify Graduate School

January 24 - Final day to add or enroll in a full semester Virtual College course wtih instructor permission

January 25 - Final day for 60% refund for full semester or arranged courses

February 1 - Final day for 40% refund for full semester or arranged courses

February 8 - Final day for 25% refund for full semester or arranged courses

Final day to add a course or to enroll in a regular full-semester, on-campus course or on-campus arranged course--see Add Policy Statement and Schedule
Fees for courses withdrawn do not apply to courses added after this date
Final day for undergraduate student to declare an Intent to Graduate--notify Registrar's Office
20th day of classes

February 15 - Final day for 10% refund for full semester or arranged courses

Final date to withdraw a course without transcript record.
First-time borrowers loan disbursement released to Tiger Card.
Pre-approved tuition deferment deadline

February 16 - Transcript record begins
COURSES ARE PERMITTED TO BE WITHDRAWN PASSING OR WITHDRAWN FAILING FROM FEBRUARY 16 THROUGH MARCH 31 (SEE WITHDRAWAL POLICY STATEMENT). A grade of "WP" or "WF" will be recorded.

February 20 - Final day for graduate students to sign for comprehensive examinations.

March 3 - Midsemester

March 6 - Mid-semester grades due in the Registrar's Office by noon (No mid-semester grade reporting for Virtual College classes)
Last 8-week courses begin

March 9 - Make appointment with advisor to receive mid-semester grades

March 10 - Second-disbursement loans released to Tiger Card

March 15 - Tuition fee installment due to Student Fiscal Services
Student Residential Life payments due to Student Fiscal Services

March 18-26 - Spring vacation

March 27 - Classes resume

March 28 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Graduates, Postgraduates, Seniors A-M

March 29 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Graduates, Postgraduates, Seniors N-Z

March 30 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Juniors A-M

March 31 - Final day to withdraw from a course with transcript record of "WP" or "WF." NO WITHDRAWALS ALLOWED AFTER THIS DATE.

April 3 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Juniors N-Z
Final day for graduate students to submit approved titles for Master's Thesis or Specialist's Field Study

April 5 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Sophomores A-M

April 6 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Sophomore N-Z

April 11 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Freshmen A-Z

April 15 - Student Residential Life payments due to Student Fiscal Services

April 17 - Final day for graduate students to have their comprehensive exams returned by departments to the Graduate School

April 22 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, New Freshmen

April 24 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Transfer Students
Final day for graduate students to submit approved Master's Thesis or Specialist's Field Study and Oral Examination Report

April 25 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, Transfer Student

April 29 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, New Freshmen

May 1 - Early registration for Summer/Fall 2006, New Freshmen

May 6, 8-12 - Final examinations

May 12 - Semester ends

May 13 - Commencement, 10 a.m., Gross Memorial Coliseum

May 15 - Final grade entry dealine, NOON

May 16 - Grades available at SWS

May 29 - Memorial Day Holiday, University closed

May 31 - Spring semester undergraduate/graduate degree candidates must have all requirements for a degree completed and on record in the Registrar's Office by 4:30 pm
