Four-Year Degree Guarantee
University Responsibilities

Students, by applying for the four-year degree guarantee program, agree to accept total responsibility for completing all the requirements of the agreement by following  the class schedule  exactly as developed by the advisor, the major requirements as established by the department and the degree requirements as established by the university.

The university’s responsibility in the event a student does not graduate on time is for the cost of tuition and fees for the course(s) needed to graduate and only:

  1. if it is proven that the University failed to offer the needed course(s) on a regular schedule during the year or on a regular cycle of courses during a two-year period;
  2. if there was a proven error in advising; or
  3. if it is proven that the department changed degree requirements.
