Dear Custer Hall 4th Floor Resident,
My name is Alec Weaver and I will be your Residential Assistant for the 2013-2014 school year. I am a KAMS graduate from Spring Hill, KS and will be majoring in Physics. I have two brothers; one who is 20 and goes to Pitt State and the other is 8 and will likely challenge you to play him in chess by the end of the year. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, ping pong, LoL, racquetball, tennis, and shouting incoherent words in Korean/Chinese.
As your RA, I will be putting on programs (hopefully interesting ones), encouraging you to get involved on campus, and occasionally pestering you to finish your homework. Put simply, I am here to help you and the other residents have the most positive experience possible, whether that means academically, socially, or emotionally. The KAMS program can be difficult at times, and my job is to make life easier. I have already taken a majority of your classes for next year, and will almost always be available for questions or help. I am just one of many resources that will be available for you.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can text, email, or message me on Facebook and I will do my best to respond quickly. I look forward to getting to meet you next year.
